Shipping policy
Shipping and Delivery Conditions
1. Scope & Target Group
Our deliveries and services are exclusively provided to entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB. The product range is designed for industrial needs; shipping is primarily done as heavy load or bulky goods transport via freight forwarders. Parcel shipping is only intended for small parts and accessories (approx. 2–5% of the product range).
2. Shipping Methods & Logistics Standard
-
Freight Forwarder Shipping (Standard): Goods over 30 kg or with bulky dimensions are shipped on pallets (Euro or disposable pallets). Delivery is made "free curbside".
Note for Goods Recipients: The customer must ensure that suitable unloading equipment (e.g., forklift, crane) and trained personnel are available at the delivery location.
-
Parcel Shipping (Exception): Components up to approx. 30 kg are shipped via qualified parcel service providers (e.g., DHL Express, UPS).
-
Self-Collection: After notification of readiness and scheduling, collection from the factory/warehouse is possible.
3. Delivery Times & Scheduling
The delivery time depends on the technical specification and availability:
-
Stock Items: Ready for shipment approx. 5–10 working days after order clarity and receipt of payment.
-
Spare Parts / Custom Manufacturing: Delivery time is based on individual technical coordination according to the details in the order confirmation.
-
Project Business: Dates are fixed within the framework of milestone planning.
-
Notification: For freight forwarder shipping, timely information about the expected delivery period is provided to minimize downtime during goods receipt.
4. Freight Costs & Additional Charges
-
Germany: Calculated based on weight, loading meters, and distance. Exact costs are transparently shown in the offer or during the ordering process.
-
EU Countries: Delivery is standardly DAP (Incoterms 2020), unless otherwise agreed. Import VAT and any fees are borne by the buyer.
-
Third Countries (Non-EU): Shipping is tax-free as an export delivery. All customs duties, taxes, and administrative import fees are to be borne by the buyer.
5. Transfer of Risk (Liability)
The risk of accidental loss or deterioration of the goods passes to the buyer upon handover to the carrier (freight forwarder, carrier) or upon readiness for collection. This applies regardless of who bears the freight costs.
6. Partial Deliveries
RTH ReTechHub is entitled to make partial deliveries if these are technically reasonable and acceptable to the buyer (e.g., advance delivery of sealing kits before the main assembly) to support the availability of the customer's systems.
7. Reservation in Case of Force Majeure
Events beyond our control (e.g., raw material shortages, strikes, official interventions, or unforeseeable logistics stoppages) release us from the obligation to deliver for the duration of the disruption. The buyer will be proactively informed.
